Dr. Paul Sharp
Dr. Paul Sharp is an experienced and effective professional educator and instructor. With over two decades of experience in teaching, leadership, administration, mentoring, and consulting, he understands and has personally experienced change on both personal and professional levels. Without a doubt, he believes change is hard, frustrating, and difficult to navigate. Change, whether intentional or not, should be embraced and viewed as an opportunity and not a loss. Dr. Sharp brings a client-centered and growth mindset-forward approach.
Dr. Sharp grew up in the Indianapolis area, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History Education from Indiana University-Bloomington. His education career moved him to Missouri where he taught and was building principal in southeast Missouri and St. Louis area schools. During this time he completed a Master’s from Southeast Missouri State University and Doctorate from University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2014, Dr. Sharp changed careers and began working at Lindenwood University in Belleville, IL as an assistant professor of leadership and teacher education dealing with both personal and professional growth.
Dr. Sharp looks forward to building a relationship with his clients to help them move forward during unexpected change. When one door shuts, another is always opened.
